Crossroads of Migration

Investigator  Justin Gest
Affiliation  Other - FAS

Based on the work of former Harvard Fellow and Lecturer, Dr. Justin Gest, the Crossroads of Migration was developed into a set of dynamic webmaps that visualize migration patterns from origin to destination countries.  Based on United Nations data from the year 2013, the map shows changing patterns for migration to and from 232 countries.   Gest's work on migration is the topic in his forthcoming book:  Crossroads: Comparative Immigration Regimes in a World of Demographic Change, to be published by Cambridge University Press.
