Xin Lao

Visting Fellow

Xin Lao is a Ph.D candidate in regional economics of School of Government, Peking University, China, and a fellow of GIS simulation and analysis laboratory in Peking University, having an academic background of geography. Her research focuses on population geographic analysis, the evolution of urban systems, and urbanization. Her current research centers on the prediction of China’s urban population based on China’s internal population migration and urban networks, and she will collaborate on the ChinaMap project at the CGA.
