Stacy came to Harvard in 2012 with work experience in consulting, the non-profit sector, and the arts. In the past she could be found guiding researchers through the Atlantic rainforest in Brazil, managing data for the remediation of a superfund site, routing troupes for a touring theatre company, and building a GIS for a watershed association. She earned a M.S.
Dave came to Harvard in 2014 as a GIS Fellow. He draws from a multidisciplinary background encompassing engineering, software design, systems analysis, and geo information science. He has applied this experience to such areas as complex systems’ performance, GIScience education, and application of GIS to healthcare and municipal planning.
Giovanni earned a laurea degree in Natural Science and a M.S. degree in GIS and Environmental Management from University of Milano. He has been working in Afghanistan as GIS specialist in the water supply unit of the Danish NGO Dacaar. In Italy, he was a GIS consultant for GISItalia, an Italian ESRI business partner, focusing on GIS and web application.

Dave joined Harvard in June, 2000 as part of the software development group with the Harvard University Library Office for Information Systems (OIS) and helped develop the Harvard Geospatial Library (HGL). Dave has over 20 years of experience with GIS and before arriving at Harvard he worked for the Department of Defense. He was on the CGA staff from 2006 to 2010.
